Known Issues
Android OpenGL
It is not possible out of the box to display two textures next to each other. If possible, favor the Vulkan graphics API for Android.
NativeCameraStreamSender
On some specific Android hardware, the NativeCameraStreamSender preview does not work.
Favor using CameraStreamSender (which is a WebcamTextureStreamSender under the hood) when targeting Android.
Texture-based streaming
Texture-based streaming (WebcamTextureStreamSender) is not yet supported on WebGL.
Favor using NativeCameraStreamSender when targeting WebGL, or use the CameraStreamSender that will work in all cases.
Texture-based streaming frame rate
The actual frame rate of texture-based video streams is lower than the configured VideoFPS (for example, 24 FPS configured gives about 15 FPS).
The issue is in BaseTextureVideoRecorder, so every class that inherits from it is affected. This will be fixed in a next release.
WebGL camera resolution change
On WebGL, changing the camera resolution during a session may fail: locally, the preview size changes and the image is padded with grey areas, while on remote clients the image is stretched.
