概要
シングルプレイヤーやローカル/オンラインマルチプレイヤーで動作するBot
「Bot(ボット)」は、マルチプレイヤーゲームを成功させるためには極めて重要です。Botを導入する主な利点は、以下の2点です。
- Botは、接続しているプレイヤーが不足している場合でも、ルームを埋め合わせることができます。これによって、ゲームリリース直後のプレイヤー体験が大きく向上します。プレイヤーはBotとも対戦できるため、ルームを満たすのに十分なプレイヤー数が存在していなくてもゲームをプレイできます。
- Botは、途中で切断したプレイヤーの代理としても使用できます。ゲームに再接続したプレイヤーは、自身のエンティティの操作権限を復帰させることもできます。
Bot SDKは、特にゲーム開発序盤では、大きな時間節約になります。Unityのカスタムエディターで構築されているため、迅速なプロトタイピングが可能で、ゲームデザイナー/レベルデザイナーがエディター上でゲームプレイを直接調整できるようになっています。

インストールと移行ガイド
Bot SDKのインストールは、プロジェクトに.unitypackageをインポートするだけです。SDKを新しいバージョンにアップグレードする手順も同様です。
Quantumプロジェクトのバージョンを3.0から3.1へ移行する際は、すべてのコンパイルエラーを修正する手順が必要になります。
- すべてのAIドキュメントを閉じる
- Bot SDKエディターウィンドウを閉じる
- Quantum 3.1用のBot SDKをダウンロードする
- プロジェクトにSDKをインポートすると、このアドオン関連のコンパイルエラーが解決され、次の移行手順を進められるようになる
導入方法
Bot SDKは、主に2つの部分で構成されています。
- ビジュアルエディター:Botの挙動を簡単に定義・調整できます。
- 決定論的AIコード:Quantumシミュレーションの一部として実装されていて、直接エディターと統合されています。
現在は、以下のAIモデルをサポートしています。
- 階層型有限ステートマシン (HFSM:Hierarchical Finite State Machine)
- ビヘイビアツリー (BT:Behaviour Tree)
- 効用理論 (UT:Utility Theory)
このアドオンを使用する際、プロジェクトでどのAI技術を選択するかは、完全にユーザーの自由です。
- 1つの技術のみで、すべてのBotを設計することが可能です。
- 一部のBotはHFSM、別のBotはBT、さらに別のBotはUTで設計することも可能です。

エディターを開く
